Postirradiation changes of the liver demonstrated by computed tomography

A Kolbenstvedt, I Kjolseth, O Klepp and F Kolmannskog

Postirradiation changes of a liver containing a lesion as demonstrated by computed tomography (CT) is described. After treatments of 2,000 and 3,000 rad (20 and 30 Gy), the size of the mass decreased and CT showed a region with low attentuation and sharp, straight borders, corresponding to the radiation portal.
