Intussusception in infants and children: diagnosis and therapy

Intussusception represents the most common abdominal emergency of early childhood. Despite its prevalence, there is controversy concerning diagnosis and therapy. The authors discuss their approach to the diagnosis of suspected intussusception and the radiologist's role in therapy.
