The fellowships are 1 month long, beginning in the fall and extending through the RSNA Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting in November. During that time, Drs Katz and Wagner will live temporarily in Richmond, Va, where they will work with the Editor of Radiology. They will also spend time in the Washington, DC, editorial office of RadioGraphics. Dr Katz and Dr Wagner will also spend 2
days with RSNA publications, advertising, and marketing communications staff. A week of the fellowship will be spent working with RSNA editors at the Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, which will be held at Chicago's McCormick Place from November 28 to December 3. Besides learning about journalism in radiology, the fellows will contribute to the development of RSNA publications by lending their unique experiences and perspectives.

He attended the Stony Brook campus for medical school and received his medical degree in 1990. Dr Katz has co-authored over 70 radiology articles, almost 50 abstracts, and two textbooks. He currently serves as a reviewer for five radiology journals.
