Transverse CT scan shows diffuse calcification of the left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) in a 69-year-old patient who had hypertension and positive thallium stress test results that led to coronary angiography. Triple-vessel obstruction was found, and the patient underwent coronary bypass surgery. The CAC score in the left anterior descending coronary artery was 710, and the total calcium score was 2,115.
