Anthony V. Proto, MD, Editor

Index terms: Editorials • Radiology (journal)

It is my pleasure to introduce Jane L. Weissman, MD, who has recently been appointed as another new Deputy Editor for Radiology and thus will become a member of our editorial team. We are fortunate to have Dr Weissman join us, as she has also been an outstanding reviewer for Radiology for the past many years, just as has been our other newly appointed Deputy Editor, Douglas S. Katz, MD (1). Dr Weissman received the Radiology Editor’s Recognition Award with Distinction in 1993 and 1994, followed by 3 consecutive years of that award with Special Distinction in 1995, 1996, and 1997. In 1998, she was appointed an Associate Editor of Radiology in the Head and Neck Imaging section, followed by an appointment as Consultant to the Editor in 2001.
